Temporary Preauthorization Hold
(No action is required from our clients. This status will turn green once TPH has been processed manually by our staff with your card information provided in your CC form.) This is a temporary authorization hold in your credit or debit card as a precautionary measure to cover potential missing items or damages that fall within the renter’s insurance deductible. This hold is Authorization Only, meaning that the amount authorized will only be frozen within your account after processing. This is commonly seen in scenarios such as hotel bookings, car/equipment rentals, or other rental services. The temporary preauthorization will be voided within 48 business hours upon gear return.
